Health, youth and welfare

Social Support Act (Wmo).

The municipality provides support for residents to live at home for as long as possible. You can read more about the Wmo here.

Center for Social Participation (CMD).

Do you need advice on raising your child or support with developmental problems? Then you can contact the CMD. You can also contact the CMD for questions about dealing with money, day care, independent living, volunteer work or informal care.

Collective health insurance

Youth Aid

Municipalities are responsible for all forms of youth and parenting services with the exception of long-term, highly intensive Health. Read more about the services we offer.

Pupil Transport

Is your child unable to travel to school independently due to distance or disability? In that case, you can apply for pupil transportation. Here you can find more information about pupil transport. 

Compulsory education, special leave or exemption

Older and partially disabled workers' benefit (IOAW).

Were you born before Jan. 1, 1965, and became unemployed after age 50? If so, you may be eligible for IOAW benefits. You can read more about it here.

Welfare: lead pipes

Drinking water from lead pipes is bad for your health. Lead water pipes are found in properties built before 1960. Therefore, check yourself if you see lead pipes in your home.
