The extraordinary registrar (babs) plays an important role in the consummation of a marriage or registered partnership. Our dedicated wedding officiants are ready to make your wedding day a special and personal ceremony.
Selecting a babs
- For a simple ceremony, the municipality assigns an available officiant.
- If you choose an extended ceremony, please indicate your preference for someone from our team. We will try to plan it for you. If your preference is not available we will contact you.
- You can use your own wedding officiant who does not work for our municipality, provided that the person performs extended marriages for another municipality on a regular basis. Please read carefully the associated Requirements and additional costs to avoid disappointment.
