Temporary Support Necessary Costs (TONK) to be applied for from March 1
Due to the corona crisis, many people's livelihoods are under pressure because they cannot afford their necessary housing costs. The government sees the urgency to provide temporary financial support to households from March 1, 2021. The Temporary Support for Necessary Costs (TONK) is given away to municipalities and will be based on the municipal special assistance scheme. Each municipality has room to set guidelines for this.
The College of Nuenen has established municipal policy rules under which Requirements residents can use the support for 6 months, over the period January 1, 2021 to July 1, 2021. Residents can apply for relief from March 1, 2021, through the special webpage Temporary Support Necessary Costs (TONK). There is also an explanation on the municipal website about the Requirements.
