What is it?

General

Are you wondering when you can use our garbage collection services? You can read all about it on Blink's website.

Crown rings have been placed in Nuenen to hang your PMD bag. The crown rings are not intended for storage.

You can see when the waste will be picked up from your place in the waste calendar. You can also bring the PMD waste to the environmental street for free.

What to do.

Waste not collected

Contact 0800 0492 or by mail at klantenservice@mijnblink.nl. The report must be in by 12:00 the day AFTER collection. Blink will determine whether or not to drive back.

You may only offer your waste after 10 p.m. for the collection day. The collector starts collection at 7:30 am. You must put your container back inside by 8 p.m. on the collection day.

If a container is not completely emptied

Of course it is annoying that your container has not been completely emptied. Unfortunately, it is not possible to request an additional emptying. If the waste is not released when the container is tipped and shaken, and falls out of the container; then the waste has probably been stuck anyway. The collection service may not remove the waste from the container with their own hands, among other safety reasons. You may assume that Blink will do everything possible to empty your container. We therefore advise you to offer the contents of the container as loose as possible before the next emptying day. Perhaps you can put the bags a little less full in the container to prevent the waste from getting stuck. Your emptying remains registered.

Bulky waste

For bulky waste we refer you to the Nuenen environmental street. If you have a lot of construction waste or furniture, there are companies that rent out trailers for one or more days. But please contact the Kringloopwinkel Nuenen HET GOED first as there may be some furniture that deserves a second chance. A separate charge is made for a mattress because of the high processing costs.

Bring your environmental and debit cards (payments are made via debit card) and keep in mind that you can offer up to 2 m3 at a time.

PMD bags

You can pick up a roll of pmd bags free of charge at the following locations:

  • Nuenen City Hall;
  • All supermarkets in Nuenen (except Aldi and Lidl);
  • environmental site De Huufkes 48-50.

Not sure if something belongs in the pmd waste? Then check the waste route guide.

Glass waste

Glass is an ideal raw material for recycling. Cullet and waste glass can be made into completely new glass. To do this, however, it is important that the right color of glass ends up in the right bottle bank.

  • Empty bottles and jars: may go in the bottle bank with lids. Health make sure these are empty as much as possible.
  • Red and blue glass: may go in the green glass container.
  • Black glass: not in the bottle bank but with the residual waste.
  • Mirrors: turn in at a glass shop or the environmental waste disposal site.
  • Window glass: as construction/demolition waste to the environmental street.
  • Other glass (such as drinking glasses): belongs with residual waste.

Diaper waste and incontinence materials

In the municipality of Nuenen there are special containers for diapers and incontinence materials. You may only put diapers and incontinence material in these containers. Other waste, such as sanitary towels or packaging, does not belong there.

You may put the diapers and incontinence material in the white diaper bags provided for this purpose. You may also use a transparent bag, as long as it is clear that it contains incontinence material.

Household Hazardous Waste (KCA).

Do you have KCA as a private person? Then you can drop it off at the environmental street.

You can return batteries at some supermarkets and hardware stores. You can return electrical appliances to the electronics store or the environmental centre.

Are you curious about what waste belongs to KCA? You can read all about it on Blink' s website.

GRIP wagon, the mobile waste disposal unit

An old coffee maker, dead batteries, broken light bulbs? Soon you will no longer have to go to the waste disposal site for these things; you can dispose of them at the GRIP truck in your neighborhood. The GRIP truck will travel through Nuenen for 2 days and will be at different locations every day/hour. See when the GRIP truck is in your area.
