GRIP mobile environmental street

An old coffee maker, dead batteries, ink cartridges, broken light bulbs? Soon you will no longer have to go to the recycling center for these things, but can simply dispose of them at the GRIP truck in your neighborhood. The GRIP truck will travel through Nuenen for two days and will be at different locations every day/hour. This allows you to dispose of small quantities of bulky household waste quickly and easily. Blink then takes care of removal to the environmental street.

What may go to the GRIP wagon?

At the GRIP truck you can go with small amounts of commodities such as:

  • Electrical appliances such as broken coffee makers
  • Frying fat in sealed container
  • Styrofoam
  • Small amounts of wood and debris
  • Household Hazardous Waste such as batteries and ink cartridges
  • Flat glass such as mirrors
  • Hard plastics such as toys
  • Metal

Paint residues, spray cans, chemical products and cleaning agents are not allowed on the GRIP truck because there are strict requirements for their transportation. The waste collector assesses whether items delivered may be accepted.

GRIP is free and only for Nuenen individuals.

Notice! Businesses are responsible for the disposal of their own waste.

How much are you allowed to turn in at the GRIP?

If it fits in a large shopping bag, then it may go to the GRIP. Per household, you may bring a maximum of one full shopping bag of (be careful!) small bulky household waste. Large amounts of waste you bring to the environmental street.
