Bird flu Sint-Oedenrode

Bird flu has been detected at a laying hen farm in Sint-Oedenrode. It is probably a highly contagious variant of bird flu. To prevent the spread of the virus, several measures are being taken, such as a transport ban.
Transport ban
Minister Schouten of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality has immediately declared a transport ban for poultry farms in a 10 kilometer zone around the farm in Sint-Oedenrode. A transport ban covers poultry, eggs, poultry litter and used litter, as well as other animals and animal products from farms with commercially raised poultry.
