Communications Alderman
Day of informal care Nov. 12.
The well-attended day at the Monastery consisted of two sessions and an information booth. A guidebook was distributed and there was a film screening in the theater room. As a token of appreciation, the municipality provided VVV vouchers again this year.
Week of the foster family
The Alderman, Meriam van Onzenoort and an employee of Combination Youth Care visited a grandparent and grandmother who are foster parents of two grandchildren.
Parent Café
The municipality will start this from 2022. The goal is to provide preventive education to parents on self-selected topics. There will then be an opportunity for informal contact between parents and professionals.
The intention is to eventually put together a parent panel that will determine the topics.
If successful, separate evenings will be organized by age group (0 to 4, 4 to 12 and 12 years and older).
Research drug use
Through December, a survey of young people on drug use called Skipping or Tripping is being conducted. This is a project of the Safety Region.
Each municipality has to recruit young people proportionally, for Nuenen at least 100 young people. The goal is a baseline measurement for the Denormalization drug use project.
Question: How many young people are participating in the study?
Answer: Previously we were at 50%, similar to the region. The expectation is that we will reach 100%.
Questions to the Alderman
There are no questions.
The chairman closed the public part of the meeting.
