Questions to the Alderman

Question: Has the municipality of Nuenen already drawn up a Local Inclusion Agenda? This has been mandatory since 2016. Many municipalities have not yet done so. It is about the livability of a municipality for people with disabilities.

Answer: The municipality of Nuenen c.a. - like many other municipalities - has not drawn up a Local Inclusion Agenda. However, the municipality does work in the spirit of the UN Convention and according to the guidelines of the National Program Unlimited Participation.

Question: "In January 2020, the Social Domain Advisory Council asked questions about potential risks surrounding market forces in youth care. At that time it was indicated that random checks are made on indications issued and that there is not always a grip on Health that is deployed because of the medical referral route. Even now there is national news coverage of the fact that 32 percent of youth care providers make (much) more than 10 percent profit while 3 to 7 percent is the norm in the care sector (according to research by Kurtsosis commissioned by Binnenlands Bestuur). Has anything since changed in this situation and have any significant results come out of the sample checks?"
Answer: Regarding potential risks surrounding market forces in youth care, care providers are assessed against a number of criteria in order to be awarded a contract for 2022. The assessment takes into account legal form, executive compensation and the percentage that revenue from participating municipalities makes up of total revenue.

Question: What is a person on Social assistance benefit benefit allowed to earn on the side in Nuenen without being cut? What policy leads to this choice in Nuenen. Municipalities seem to be allowed to determine that amount (partially?) themselves and do so.

Answer:
In principle, no one is allowed to earn additional income in addition to the Social assistance benefit without this amount being fully deducted from the benefit by the municipality. However, the first six months of the Social assistance benefit benefit may be worked where 25% of the income from work may be retained. This percentage of income from part-time work is not then deducted from the Social assistance benefit. However, there is a maximum of about 200 e net per month that can be earned in addition to the Social assistance benefit. These amounts are adjusted annually. The exemption applies only during the months in which you have income from work. After these six months, the full income is deducted from the benefit.

The chairman closed the public part of the meeting.
