Communications Alderman
Survey youth work LEV group
Part of the available budget of €100,000 will be spent on youth workers. They conducted a digital survey of approximately 2,800 young people aged 13 to 23 with the goal of identifying what is going well and what could be improved. Prizes were provided to encourage young people to participate in the survey.
New employee CMD
This full-time employee has extensive experience in mental health care and she will build a good relationship with the GPs so that they can rely on her expertise. She will play a role in triage in the CMD, ensuring focused and good referrals. The ASD (Marian) has previously advised this.
Home visits for 80-year-olds
In cooperation with the VOAs (voluntary elderly advisors), home visits are made and an inventory is made of how this target group is doing; whether there is a particular need and whether the Municipality or a VOA can provide support. VOAs basically refer all WMO assistance requests to a client support person.
Questions to the Alderman
- Q: At last week's Seniors Advocacy meeting, it was not yet known that home visits would be allowed again. We are surprised to hear now that home visits are being scheduled again.
A: The municipality has announced that visits will start again however the letters have yet to be sent out.
- Question: What is the setup LEVgroup - CMD and related to that the role of the new CMD employee.
Answer: The new youth worker works for the LEV group and is managed by the municipality. The coordinator, the Wmo consultants and some youth workers are employed by the municipality. Other employees are employed by the LEVgroup.
- Question: Early Signaling in Debt Relief; 2022 is the year of implementation, what is the status?
Answer: Implementations are underway but due to AVG there has been a delay, the information is now ready and will be shared with the ASD at the next meeting.
