If you want to place a bouncy castle on municipal land, you must meet a number of Requirements . If the bouncy castle is for private use during a private party, such as a birthday, it is not allowed to place the bouncy castle on municipal land. However, it is allowed to place the bouncy castle on private property.

A bouncy castle for a (small) event can be permitted through an application for an event permit or a notification of a small event.

Request

For both a small event notification and an event permit application, use the application form. You add the following items to your application:

• A photo of what the bouncy castle looks like.
• A site drawing where the bouncy castle will be located.
• A valid (safety) certificate of the bouncy castle. Without a valid certificate from the supplier it is not allowed to place the inflatable.
• A description of how the bouncy castle is secured with ballast and up to what (wind) load the bouncy castle can handle.

Requirements

• Keep road safety in mind. If the bouncy castle is placed on the road, there should always be sufficient space for emergency services.
• If there are children on the bouncy castle, at least one adult must be present at all times.
• The bouncy castle must be anchored and checked regularly.
• All bouncy castles must meet the safety requirements according to the European standard NEN-EN14960.
