On June 3, 2021, the city council adopted the first part of the accommodation policy
adopted, namely the 2021-2024 Accommodation Policy Framework Memorandum. In doing so, the
City Council outlined the first frameworks and principles.

ln its meeting on April 1, the ASD discussed the Framework Memorandum on Accommodation Policy.
Most of the ASD's comments on the framework memorandum can be traced to the
general nature of the memorandum. Concrete policy goals and a timeline to achieve these goals are
are lacking. Also, according to the ASD, the urgency for new
accommodation policy is not clearly indicated.

The college shares this view. It is precisely for this reason that it has recently been working hard to
concretization of the general frameworks. This has resulted in the Nota Accommodatiebeleid
Municipality of Nuenen 2021-2025. This memorandum will be presented to the council in Feb. 2022 for decision-making.
ln this memorandum, concrete policy goals will be formulated for the various clusters of accommodation
policy goals which relate to the operation, subsidizing and
ownership relations. In addition, the current situation is Map and
indicated the path to be followed to arrive at the desired final situation.

With this new accommodation policy and subsequent implementation plans, the municipality of
Nuenen to offer more transparency and make clear agreements about the various
accommodations. This will make it clearer to those involved and residents which approach the
municipality is taking, what they can expect from the municipality of Nuenen and what the municipality
expects from them. Stakeholders and residents can also draw the municipality's attention to the agreements
in this policy. This creates more transparency about the accommodations in our
municipality.
