Large survey of buying behavior in the Randstad and North Brabant areas
The retail industry has changed in recent years. Where online shopping has experienced strong growth, vacancies are more often visible on the street and stores are changing into, for example, catering or housing. Municipalities and provinces, together with retailers, are committed to attractive inner cities, village centers and a complete retail offer. To do this as well as possible, periodic research into buying behavior is of great importance.
In early September, a large-scale survey will therefore start in the Randstad and North Brabant. This study will show where residents do their shopping, shopping and targeted purchases and how satisfied they are with the various shopping locations. This information will reveal the functioning and attractiveness of shopping areas and thus help municipalities and provinces to strengthen and improve shopping facilities.
The survey is being conducted at the request of the Provinces of North Brabant, North Holland, Utrecht and South Holland. The municipality of Nuenen is also participating in the study, which is being conducted by research firm I&O Research.

The fieldwork will start from September 13. During this period, residents from the municipality of Nuenen will also be invited to participate in the survey. Residents who do not receive a letter but would like to participate can complete the questionnaire at www.startvragenlijst.nl/koopgedrag.
Among all survey participants, 100 €25 Hospitality Gift Cards will be raffled off.
