The municipality of Nuenen is working with 18 municipalities in Southeast Brabant and the organization Profit from your home to support the owners of over 10,000 owner-occupied homes in the region in insulating their homes in the coming years. This will give our residents lower energy bills, a comfortable warm home and a home that is ready for the future. 

From home visit to isolated home 

The municipality is working with the organization Profit from your home. As soon as you apply, which is possible from October 10, 2024, they schedule a no-obligation appointment. During this appointment, they will look at the situation in your home and what insulation would be effective in that home. You will then receive a savings plan. This contains which insulation measures are possible in your home, what it will yield and what it will cost. You then decide whether and which measures you want to have implemented. Profit from your home then arranges for contractors to get started on the work.  

Requirements

• The scheme is for homes built before 1990;
• Monuments are excluded from this scheme;
• The WOZ value and possibly having an energy allowance determines whether there is a cost for the advice (€29). 

Help applying for grants or loans 

Various subsidies are available for insulating a home. There is also a national Heat Fund where residents can borrow money at a low rate to finance insulation.
