North Brabant green enforcement covenant signed

An important goal of the Green Enforcement Covenant is to enable special investigating officers (green BOAs), who are responsible for supervision and enforcement of nature legislation and other rules in the rural area, to act on each other's territory and across municipal boundaries. This covenant has been signed in Brabant by most municipalities, the water boards, the environmental service, province and nature organizations such as Staatsbosbeheer. For the municipality of Nuenen, this covenant was signed by Alderman Kok.

Municipal boundaries

Offenders generally do not neatly observe municipal boundaries. Nature reserves of different owners are often contiguous and offenders do not take property and municipal boundaries into account The (green) boas had to take this into account, but with the signing of the covenant this is overcome. This makes the deployment of these Boas much more effective.

Covenant

The green enforcement covenant regulates the Requirements under which green boas may act on each other's territory. Organized actions are also held with the green boas and the municipal boas public space, so that supervision and enforcement in the outlying area has more clout.
