We can honestly say that the municipality of Nuenen is currently financially healthy. Our policy of saving, "new for old," realistic planning and moving forward if possible is an important factor in achieving the positive financial results. We therefore do not need to make any cuts in the short term. This is something we can be quite proud of, in these challenging times when many municipalities are really having to tighten their belts.

Bertje van Stiphout,
Alderman Finance
