Automatic registration of T driving licenses will stop as of July 1
Category T, better known as the driving licence for a tractor or mobile machine, will no longer be automatically added to your driving licence as of 1 July 2025.
These are the new rules
- If you currently have a B driving licence, category T will automatically be added if you renew your driving licence before 1 July 2025.
- Are you renewing your B driving licence issued before 1 July 2015 after 1 July 2025? Then you will not automatically be assigned category T. You must obtain the tractor driving licence separately.
