• Needed at login:
  • DigiD
  • iDEAL|Wero
  • scan or photo of your own ID
  • scan or photo of your witnesses' ID
    tip: use the Rijksoverheid 's KopieID app to do this securely

• When registering, the names and identification documents of all witnesses are required immediately.
  If you add witnesses or their identification documents later, this will be considered a change, and the corresponding change fees will apply. 

• Reservations
  Your reservation is not official until you receive a confirmation letter from us by mail (after about 1 week).
  On the form, please select a date and time, and we will check availability. If your chosen date and time are not available, we will contact you.  

• Modification/cancellation 
  Please note that after registration, change fees are in effect as soon as you change witnesses/day/time, for example.
  • up to 1 week before the ceremony: € 85,00
  • 1 week or less before the ceremony: €137.50

• Practical Information
  A simple ceremony takes place in the town hall’s wedding hall, lasts 15 to 20 minutes, is conducted in Dutch, does not allow for a specific wedding officiant, and includes no music.
  You can opt for just the legal portion, but you can also choose to add some additional touches. In that case, your wedding officiant will base a personal speech on your written input. 
   

• Registration deadline (ceremony including speech)
  If you would like a personalized speech, please allow about 8 weeks between the time of registration and your ceremony. If you register later than this, there is a risk that there will not be enough time to prepare a speech.

  A full ceremony lasts 25 to 40 minutes, is conducted in Dutch or English, and you may request a wedding officiant from our team (or your own officiant for an additional fee). Ceremonies can be held Monday through Sunday in the town hall’s wedding hall or at other wedding venues. A preliminary consultation, a personalized speech, and a marriage/partnership certificate are included. 

• Possible additional costs:
  - hiring your own wedding officiant: €240.00
  - wedding venue other than the town hall: you are responsible for arranging the rental and practical details with the venue

Sign up for free ceremony (Nuenen residents)

• Please note: this is only possible if one of you lives in Nuenen.
• Monday mornings at 9 a.m. or 9:30 a.m.
• only the dates you can select through the system are free (no additional times available)
• the party including bride and groom consists of a maximum of 10 people
• excluding wedding/partnership booklet, speech and further decoration

• Other Important Points
  During a free ceremony, we only handle the legal portion of the ceremony (for a marriage: exchanging vows and signing the certificate; for a civil partnership: signing the certificate). If you would like to exchange rings, please bring them with you. There is no time for speeches or decorations, and the appointment lasts approximately 10 minutes.
