Communicating relocation
Directly arrange
Removals within or to the municipality of Nuenen can be reported from 4 weeks before your move until no later than 5 days after your move. Your relocation date will then be registered. This can be done online via DigiD and is free of charge.
If you are going to live somewhere else, you must report your move to your new municipality. This home municipality will then ensure that you are deregistered from Nuenen.
Report relocation
Who gets to report the move?
- Anyone 16 years of age or older for themselves (at 16/17, parents may do so).
- Cohabiting spouses/registered partners for each other.
- For minor children: the parent, guardian or caregiver.
- For resident perennial children: parents.
- For live-in parents, adult children may report the move.
- The trustee for someone under guardianship.
Partners/children moving with you online
Married/registered partners: after logging in via DigiD, you will see the details of your partner and children. You can then "move them along.
Living together but not married/registered partners: then you both have to report your move yourself. You cannot do this for each other. If you have children together, one of the parents can check the box of the children moving with you in his or her online declaration.
Moving in with someone
If you are going to live with someone, you need permission from the person who has been registered at this address the longest. If you go through the questions in the online form, the main resident can grant this permission at the end via DigiD.
From abroad
Are you not from another Dutch municipality but living in Nuenen from abroad? Then make an appointment by phone at +31 40 2631 631. Schedule this appointment within 5 days of arriving in the Netherlands.
