Invitation Memorial Day Nuenen on Wednesday, May 4, 2022

The annual National Remembrance of the Dead takes place on Wednesday, May 4. On May 4, we hang the Dutch flag at half-mast.

We would like to invite you to the Nuenen Commemoration of the Dead on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 7:15 pm. We commemorate at the war memorial 'Resurrection is Liberation', on Parkstraat (next to house number 69, near the traffic circle).

In recent years, during the corona pandemic, the municipality of Nuenen has held a small ceremony broadcast by the LON on May 4. Now that we can meet and commemorate again, during the National Remembrance of the Dead on May 4, we will hold a commemoration at the monument for the first time in Nuenen.

Wreaths will be laid during the commemoration. A little before 8 p.m. the tattoo signal will sound. Exactly at 20:00 we will hold two minutes of silence. Then Brass Band Nuenen will play the national anthem.
