The following households may be eligible:
- The household has a gross income up to 200% of the social minimum: that is a maximum of €3,400 for singles and €4,740 for cohabitants (including 8% vacation allowance, excluding supplements).
- The energy bill (depending on income) exceeds 8 to 10 percent of joint gross income.
- The household has its own energy contract or pays through rent/service charges (as with block heating).
The Emergency Fund pays the portion of the utility bill that exceeds the aforementioned income percentages.
Our website has more information about the application process, including what information is required, such as DigiD.
Due to high interest, the Emergency Fund expects crowds in the first few days after opening. In case of crowds, people are advised to apply at a later time.
