Street Names in Kloostertuin Announced

The selection procedure for the Kloostertuin stipulates that the Mayor and Aldermen will determine the street names based on the recommendations of the Street Naming Committee. The names of the residential blocks will also be used as official addresses. The five distinct names will make it easier to recognize and locate the homes. The walking path between the residential blocks will also be given its own name.

The name “Kloostertuin” has been well-established in Nuenen for many years and will therefore remain in use. The names of the residential blocks were chosen in honor of nuns who have been associated with the convent over the years. This has resulted in the following names:

• Residential Block 1: ELISABETH-HOF
• Residential Block 2: SISTER JOSEPHAHOF                                                                                                      
• Residential Block 3: ZUSTER IRENÉEHOF
• Residential Block 4: SISTER CLOTHILDEHOF                                                                                                 
• Residential Block 5: SISTER BERNADETTE COURT
