Regional Workplace Development Fund (ROW).
The Regional Workplace Development Fund (ROW) provides entrepreneurs with additional resources at the time they invest in an existing business park in the region to make plans possible. The projects involved are:
- Which consist of a spatial intervention ((re)developing work sites);
- Which are just now not fundable. With this financing, then, it should work;
- Where the business function remains (no redevelopment to residential);
- Who contribute to solving vacancies in the region;
- Which are good for employment (new or maintain existing ones);
- Which are of (economic) value to the region;
- Who contribute to the innovative power of the region;
- Who assume sustainable business (e.g., in product innovation, waste separation, sustainable environment).
What is the benefit?
The ROW provides support in two ways: through a grant or through a loan or guarantee.
Grant
Through a grant to seek help in preparing the business case/writing the application: the Develop to Invest (DTI) scheme. Intended for entrepreneurs who have a plan involving a contribution to:
- Improving the quality of existing business parks;
- Job growth/maintenance;
- Innovation and chain strengthening within the Brainport region.
Loan or guarantee
Providing a loan or guarantee. These are also provided in the form of a grant, but must be repaid. Here the repayment period for a loan is up to 10 years and the guarantee expires after a maximum of 6 years.
Requirements
- Funding from the ROW is possible only when regular funding is not possible;
- The ROW funds up to 50%;
- With a lower limit of €250,000 and a maximum of €2,500,000 in terms of funds needed.

Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis.
