Award realization renovation and expansion the Hongerman

On December 12, 2023, the college adopted the procurement strategy for the European non-public tender for the renovation and expansion of the Hongerman. 

The college has decided to definitively award the contract for the realization of the renovation and expansion of the Hongerman to the tender with the best price-
quality ratio of BanBouw B.V. The City Council will be informed of this decision by means of a council information letter. The mayor granted power of attorney to the Alderman social real estate to sign the agreement.

Decision on objection

The objector lodged an objection to the decision on the request for loss compensation. It is proposed to adopt the advice of the Objections Committee. The contested decision is upheld.

The college has decided to declare the objector's objection admissible and unfounded and to uphold the contested decision, in accordance with the advice of the
objection committee. The objector will be informed by means of a decision on the objection.

Representation Policy 2024

The representation policy has received an update. Changes were made in the following areas: flag policy, criteria honorary medals, corporate gifts and birthdays 100- to 105-year-olds.

The college has decided to adopt the 2024 (updated) Representation Policy while simultaneously repealing the 2017 Representation Policy. The City Council will be informed of this decision through a council information letter.

Archive inspection March 26, 2024

On March 26, 2024, the Regionaal Historisch Centrum Eindhoven (RHCe) conducted an archive inspection at Dienst Dommelvallei and the three municipalities. This is a standard inspection that takes place biannually. The conclusion of RHCe for all four organizations is: "The Health and management of archive documents partially comply with applicable laws and regulations."

After adopting the requested decisions, the following steps will be taken:
- The SIO report and the archives inspection report will be signed and returned to the RHCe;
- The council will be informed via a council information letter;
- The relevant recommendations will be incorporated into the Archive and Information Management Improvement Plan 2025-2026.

The college decided to adopt the Archives Inspection Report and Strategic Information Consultation Report and to inform the City Council of recommendations
archivist through a council information letter. The college took note of the state of affairs Improvement Plan archival and information management 2023-2024.

Council information letter procedure and planning housing city hall and CMD

In September 2024, the council was informed about the plans to build a new town hall. During the budget meeting, the groups indicated they needed more time and information for this.

The college agreed to send council information letter to the council on the process to be followed for housing the town hall.

Renovation and preservation of E.M.K. and HAN

The changing facilities of both sports associations are severely outdated and no longer meet the policy frameworks for outdoor sports facilities. In addition, in line with the 2019 Climate Agreement, the municipality of Nuenen has the ambition to reduce the CO2 emissions of its real estate portfolio by at least 49% before 2030. In order to achieve this objective, the Roadmap for making social real estate more sustainable has been drawn up. Both locker rooms are included in this as a priority project.

The college decided to approve the remodeling/renovation and sustainability of the dressing facilities and equipment storage of the soccer club E.M.K and the Hockey club Nuenen.

Letter of intent agreement collaboration building caring neighborhoods

The municipality of Nuenen intends to work with parties and residents to create a healthy and engaged Nuenen. Residents can continue to live independently for as long as possible in a safe and accessible residential environment where people are there for each other (residential care vision). The municipality is realizing this in Nuenen-Zuid and in the center. A letter of intent will be signed for this purpose.

The college decided to agree to the letter of intent. The Alderman Social Domain is authorized to sign the letter of intent.
