Outdoor environmental planning activity "Buitengebied Nuenen, Rullen ong."
In May 2023, the college approved a request in principle for the realization of one Room for Space (RvR) house on the parcel Rullen ong. (next to 13) in Nuenen. This development fits within the policy "Building in the outlying area of Nuenen". The initiator of the plan has submitted a Buitenplanse omgevingplanactiviteit (Bopa) for this.
The college decided to grant the Bopa.
Granting this Bopa formally starts the spatial procedure and gives interested parties the opportunity to file an objection.
Job profiles Village master builder, landscape architect and reappointment of Environmental Quality Advisory Committee members
Under the Omgevingswet the structure and naming of Team Spatial Quality (TRK), Monument Committee and Village Master has been changed to "Nuenen Municipal Advisory Committee on Environmental Quality" with three subcommittees: Spatial Quality, Heritage and the Village Master Builder.
The college agrees to reappoint several members for new terms on the commission. The college also approves a job profile for recruiting a new village master builder and landscape architect.
Covenant on bio-based building MRE
The Eindhoven Metropolitan Region faces major challenges and opportunities in the field of sustainable development, both in rural and urban areas. Building with bio-based materials (such as straw) and growing them can play an important role in this sustainable transition. With this covenant, the 21 municipalities in the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region strengthen cooperation on this theme and act together to promote bio-based building and growing in the region.
The college approved the covenant "Biobased Building and Growing in the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region.
Project development Orange neighborhood
On July 7, 2023, the municipality of Nuenen received a request in principle from Helpt Elkander for the redevelopment of part of the Oranjebuurt. In it Helpt Elkander requests the municipality to cooperate with the demolition of 22 ground-level houses and the realization of 40 new stacked houses in the form of 20 apartments and 20 ground-level houses (BEBO).
The college has decided to cooperate in principle with the redevelopment of part of the Orange neighborhood located at Voirt and Irenestraat. The council will be informed of this request in principle via a council information letter.
