Falcon Leap military exercise, September 7–18

The international airborne exercise Falcon Leap will take place from Monday, September 7, through Friday, September 18. From Eindhoven Air Base, military personnel from various countries will practice dropping cargo and paratroopers.

Aircraft are flying lower than usual

During the exercise, military transport aircraft will also fly over our municipality. The aircraft will fly lower than usual and will therefore be more visible and audible. Flights are expected to take place between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. These times are subject to change.

On Saturday, September 19, Falcon Leap will conclude with the annual commemoration of Operation Market Garden on the Ginkel Heath near Ede.
