From the Housing Program 2020-2030, as a municipality we want to encourage the elderly to prepare for life-proof living, in their own homes or elsewhere. We regularly receive requests from people who want to live in family homes, but where there may be conflicts with the environmental plan. When there is informal care (intensive Health or support whose need can be demonstrated with a certificate from a family doctor), this is possible permit-free. However, we also want to make it possible for people who are preparing themselves for aging but where strictly speaking there is no question of informal care, to take measures in advance. To make the (temporary) "out-of-plans" deviation from the environmental plan under Requirements possible, we have drawn up rules on multi-generational living.
