The Municipality of Nuenen appreciates the efforts of informal caregivers and offers a voucher worth € 50 as a thank you. You are eligible for the appreciation if you are registered with the Mantelzorg Steunpunt in Nuenen. This also applies to Young Informal Caregivers (8 to 25 years).

Are you a caregiver?

What do we mean by informal care? Informal care is any help you give to someone in your immediate social circle. Informal caregivers are people who care long-term and unpaid for a chronically ill, disabled or needy person from their environment. This can be a partner, parent, child, brother, sister, but also another family member, friend, neighbor or acquaintance.

When do you qualify for the informal care appreciation?

You can apply for the appreciation if you have provided (informalHealth for at least eight hours per week for more than three months this year. Informal caregivers aged 8 and older can apply.

Other Requirements are:

• The person to whom Health is provided (the care recipient) resides in the municipality of Nuenen.
• The caregiver may live outside the municipality of Nuenen.
• A maximum of one valuation can be requested per caregiver.
• You can only receive the volunteer appreciation if you are registered with the Steunpunt Mantelzorg Nuenen before November 9, 2025. You can do this at Steunpunt Mantelzorg via the website of the LEVgroep Nuenen or by phone at the CMD: 040-2831675.

Signing up for appreciation

Application for the informal care appreciation can be made preferably through the website from Sept. 1 to Nov. 9.

For people who find filling out online difficult, we have three application hours at the Potato Eaters Lane 3 building, at the parking lot across from the Acres.
