Royal Honor for Nell van Ham - Bek

Ms. Van Ham-Beks was involved in the founding and development of the Weverkeshof Village Farm for over 15 years. She helped develop the plans, raise awareness, and secure funding. She was also active on the board.

For nearly 33 years, she dedicated herself to De Luisterlijn. She spoke with and offered support to people dealing with concerns, grief, loneliness, and other issues. She also mentored new volunteers.

And Ms. Van Ham–Beks worked for the LEV Group’s neighborhood mediation program for 13 years. She guided neighbors through conflicts and helped them resume dialogue and work together to find solutions.

This award recognizes her many years of volunteer work on behalf of others and the community.
