Individual income supplement application

What is it?

The individual income supplement is for people who have a low income for an extended period of time. You receive this benefit if you have no prospect of improving your income.

Disbursement

The municipality determines the amount of the individual income supplement and pays the supplement once a year. You can spend the supplement freely.

What to do.

  • Have your DigiD log-in information handy
    (if you do not have it, request it through the DigiD website). 
  • Log in using the green request button at the top of this page. 
  • Go to "minimum policy application form. 
  • Here you can find the form "Individual Income Supplement. 

How does it work?

  • You are eligible for the individual income supplement if:
  • You are 21 years of age or older, but under retirement age;
  • You have had a low income for the past 3 years. The municipality applies an income limit;
  • Your assets do not exceed the asset limit. For a single person the limit is €7,770.00 and for single parents and married couples €15,540.00.
  • You have no prospect of income improvement within six months;
  • You have not received an individual income supplement for the past 12 months.
