Free Tree for Nuenen Residents: Together, Let’s Make Our Town Greener and Cooler

Residents of the municipality of Nuenen can receive a free tree for their yard. Through “The Tree Project,” the municipality aims to encourage residents to make their yards greener. Trees provide shade during hot summers, help capture rainwater, and offer food and shelter to animals. Together, we can make our municipality greener, healthier, and cooler.

More Trees for a Greener Municipality

Due to climate change, we are experiencing hot, dry summers and heavy rainstorms more and more often. Trees help us cope better with these changes. They provide shade, help keep the area cool, and absorb rainwater. Trees are also important for nature. They provide food and shelter for birds, insects, and other animals.

Through the Tree Project, the municipality of Nuenen aims to encourage residents to contribute to a green and healthy living environment. After all, even a single tree in your own yard makes a difference.

The Tree Project is a collaboration between the municipality of Nuenen and The Tree Project. Together, they are committed to bringing more greenery into private gardens.
