Slippery roads: we are gritting day and night
Many areas are currently slippery. The municipality is aware of this and is working around the clock to combat the slippery conditions. Our employees are driving along fixed gritting routes to keep roads and cycle paths as safe as possible.
Despite these efforts, we cannot prevent slippery conditions everywhere and at all times. Conditions can vary greatly from street to street and route to route.
We therefore ask you to be extra careful during this period and to take winter conditions into account. Everyone remains responsible for participating safely in traffic.
Tips
- Adjust your speed and keep extra distance
- Be extra alert on bridges, overpasses, and in shaded areas.
- Be careful at sidewalks, bike paths, and side streets.
