Caravan parking on public roads
What is it?
You may have a caravan, camper, caravan, warehouse trailer, trailer, shack trailer or other such vehicle:
- Do not park on public roads (including parking lots) for more than five consecutive days;
- Place on your backyard if the zoning allows it;
- stable in a legal caravan storage facility.
In the De Pinckart, Berkenbosch (excluding the expansion), Eeneind I and Eeneind II industrial parks, the above five-day restriction does not apply.
Violations found by the boas, without the issuing of a warning, may result in a fine.
What to do.
You request the waiver from the municipality. Please provide the following information with your application:
- Your name and address.
- The period you want to park.
- Why you want to park your caravan, camper, motorhome, trailer or folding trailer on public roads.
- A description or picture of your vehicle.
You will be notified within 8 weeks whether you will receive the exemption. If you do not agree with the municipality's decision, you can object within 6 weeks.
