Objections Committee

If you disagree with a decision made by the municipality, you can object to it. For more information, see the "Making an Objection" page.

We value an independent review of your objection. Therefore, an independent objection committee has been established. This committee advises the administrative body about the decision on your objection. This is usually done after hearing all parties. After the Appeals Committee has issued its advice, the administrative body makes a decision on the objection. The administrative body may follow the committee's advice, but it may also depart from it, giving reasons.

Agenda hearings of appeals committee

The Objections Committee holds regular hearings. We list scheduled hearings on this page. The hearings are usually public. Sometimes a hearing is not public. If so, we mention that in the agenda. The hearings are held in the Commission Room at City Hall.

Hearing of the Appeals Committee on August 25, 2026

On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the Appeals Committee will hold a hearing at City Hall. 

  1. at 8:00 p.m.

    Decision of the Municipal Executive dated March 31, 2026, regarding the partial denial of an environmental permit for the construction of a multifunctional hospitality venue at Lieshoutseweg 6A in Nuenen.

  2. at 8:30 p.m.

    Decision of the Municipal Executive dated March 26, 2026, regarding the environmental permit granted for the construction of four “space-for-space” homes and the creation of an access road at Soeterbeekseweg 25 A through 25 D in Nuenen (land-use procedure).

Hearing of the Appeals Committee on September 1, 2026

On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, there will be a hearing of the Appeals Committee at City Hall. 

  1. at 7:30 p.m. — not open to the public
  2. at 8:00 p.m.:

Decision of the Municipal Executive dated June 11, 2026, regarding the event permit granted for the installation of a stage with a stage canopy on the short side of the Horecaplein canopy, near the restaurant at Parkstraat 1, and a temporary sound and lighting setup for various performances during the Nuenen fair from July 10 through July 14, 2026.

Hearing of the Appeals Committee on September 3, 2026

On Thursday, September 3, 2026, the Appeals Committee will hold a hearing at City Hall. 

  1. at 7:30 p.m. 

Objection to the Municipal Executive’s decision of May 21, 2026, regarding the environmental permit granted for the expansion of a residence at Refelingse Erven 52 in Nuenen.

2. at 8:00 p.m.

Objection to the Municipal Executive’s decision of April 16, 2026, regarding the environmental permit granted for an exemption from the regulations for a patio at Berg 1A in Nuenen.

3. at 8:30 p.m.

Objection to the decisions of the Municipal Executive dated April 20, 2026, April 29, 2026, and June 16, 2026, and a decision by the Appeals Committee dated May 18, 2026, regarding requests made under the Open Government Act concerning the asylum seekers’ center on Pastoorsmast in Nuenen.
