Exploratory Council Meetings on September 2 and 3
The meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. in the council chamber of Het Klooster Temporalis (De Pinckart 24, Nuenen). Residents are welcome to attend from the public gallery.
Wednesday, September 2
- Nuenen-Zuid: Kernkwartier and Traffic Safety
The city council will receive a briefing on ongoing projects in Nuenen-Zuid. The participatory process, traffic decisions, and measures to improve traffic safety will also be discussed.
Type of meeting: informational; you are welcome to attend as a member of the audience. - Launch of the Environmental Programs for the City Center and Berkenbos
The council will be informed about the launch of the environmental programs for the city center of Nuenen and the Berkenbos business park.

Thursday, September 3
- Study on a Second Sports Hall
The city council will receive the results of Phase 1 of the study on a possible second sports hall.
Meeting type: exploratory; you can register to speak. - Further Development of the Social Domain: “
” The council will be briefed on the “Social Domain Monitor 2025,” which includes information on Health, support services, youth, and participation.
Meeting type: advisory; you are welcome to attend as an observer.

What does "informative" mean?
During an informational meeting, the city council receives an explanation and background information from the executive committee on a particular topic. The purpose of the meeting is to take note of the information. No decisions are made at this stage.
What does “image-forming” mean?
During an informational meeting, the city council will gain a clear understanding of the current situation and future plans. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend and may speak during the discussion of this topic.
What does “advisory” mean?
The executive board gauges the council’s views on a policy issue or potential solution. For example, in the lead-up to a council proposal or regarding a matter on which the executive board has the authority to decide. The executive board presents a number of questions, possibly with various options to choose from. Council members and citizens in attendance are asked to provide their input. Interested parties may attend as observers.
