Silver medal of honor for IVN Nuenen
IVN Nuenen received today by promotion the silver medal of honor of the municipality of Nuenen. Deputy mayor Sandor Löwik awarded the medal of honor and certificate during the celebration of the 50th anniversary. An IVN jubilee tree was also planted at the Aloysiushof in Nuenen. A walnut tree (Juglans regia) was chosen. IVN (Institute for Nature Conservation Education) has 161 branches. The local chapter IVN Nuenen was founded in 1974 and has been at the center of Nuenen society for 50 years.
With this silver municipal award, the city council, on behalf of all residents in general and for the members of IVN Nuenen in particular, wishes to express its appreciation and gratitude.
