Replacement high-pressure gas pipeline Meijeraan-Hoge Brake
Enexis Netbeheer will replace the high-pressure gas pipeline in the Meierijlaan and Hoge Brake in Nuenen. Contractor Van Dorp Infra is carrying out this work on behalf of Enexis Netbeheer. This work is necessary because the high-pressure gas pipeline is in need of replacement.
When will the work begin?
The work will begin on Monday, August 19, and last approximately 15 weeks. The work will be carried out in phases (see drawing).
Phase 1 will last from Monday, August 19 to Friday, October 4, 2024 and will involve Meierijlaan, Hoge Brake to the Hongerman.
Phase 2 will last from Monday, October 7 to mid-November 2024 and concerns the Hoge Brake from the Hongerman to the Refeling/Brabantring.
In Phase 2 the electrical cables will also be reinforced to be future-proof.
What will you notice?
The work of Phase 1 will start on August 19 from the Geldropsedijk traffic circle.
The Meierijlaan and Hoge Brake will be closed to traffic in parts. A number of parking spaces in the street will not be available then. These are needed to carry out the work properly. During the work, homes and businesses will remain accessible; however, you should expect some inconvenience in reaching or leaving your property with a motorized vehicle. Should work take place in front of your driveway, the contractor will coordinate with you in advance. The emergency services and waste collection services have been informed.
Unfortunately, the work will inevitably cause nuisance and inconvenience. For example, noise pollution, traffic nuisance and/or inconvenience with parking. We ask for your understanding.
