Safety Monitor 2025

Every four years, the municipality of Nuenen conducts a survey to find out how residents feel about safety, their living environment, and the quality of life. This survey is called the Safety Monitor. In 2025, Nuenen participated in this survey for the fifth time.

Response

In the Safety Monitor, residents share their opinions on safety, quality of life, and the living environment in the municipality and their own neighborhood.

The municipality invited 1,756 residents to complete the questionnaire. Of these, 765 residents completed the questionnaire. That is 43.6 percent. In addition, 46 residents of Nuenen participated in the national Safety Monitor.

Safety and Quality of Life

Residents rate safety in the municipality at 7.9. This is the same score as in 2021.

Quality of life received a score of 8.1. This is an improvement over 2021, when residents gave quality of life a score of 8.0.
