Thematic Meeting on Sustainable Maintenance of Historic Landmarks on October 13

The theme night will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Jan van Brabant College, located at Molenstraat 191 in Helmond. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

EnergieHuis Slim Wonen is organizing this special themed evening as part of Maintenance Week, in collaboration with Monumentenwacht Brabant and eight municipalities. The event is specifically intended for owners of historic buildings.

What options are there for intelligently combining maintenance and sustainability measures? Karlijn de Wild, speaking on behalf of the Spatial Quality Committee of the City of Helmond, discusses policy and permits. Jill Vervoort of the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands provides information on energy ratings, loans, and grants.

In addition, a historic building owner from Laarbeek shares his own experiences. What challenges did he face? What decisions did he make? And what would he do differently in hindsight?

Following that, there will be a small information fair with booths from various organizations.
