Submission Requirements for the Subcommittee on Spatial Quality
Developers may submit proposals to the Spatial Quality Subcommittee (SRK) of the municipality of Nuenen. To ensure these proposals can be properly evaluated, it is important that the submitted documents are accurate and complete. Only then can the SRK issue a comprehensive recommendation that the developer can use to move forward. In line with the objective of the building guidelines (“…….”), the following submission requirements apply. Housing projects and non-residential buildings (urban and rural areas)
Residential construction projects and non-residential buildings (urban and rural areas)
- An urban planning and landscape analysis. Where applicable, supplemented with relevant research findings (e.g., tree impact analysis, parking, etc.)
- Preliminary sketches and alternatives. What ideas and considerations led to these? Ensure that these align with the principles of the building guidelines.
- A clear site plan or layout drawing that shows how the project fits into its surroundings. Please include supporting photos of the surroundings and any relevant references.
- A clear written explanation of the plan. This should include the rationale, the objective, the program, and the spatial considerations of the plan.
- Presentation format: renderings and/or 3D visualizations.
- Floor plans and cross-sections with dimensions.
- An overview of the materials and colors used.
- An oral explanation during the SRK hearing regarding the documents as submitted
- An oral explanation of the questions raised and the comments made by the SRK, as outlined in the SRK’s previously issued advisory opinion. This will take place during a subsequent meeting of the SRK. Please also indicate what changes this has led to.
