A piece of paper on the sidewalk, a plastic bottle in a corner and cans on the lawn? Nobody likes a polluted environment. That is why the whole of the Netherlands is going to work for a cleaner neighborhood during the National Clean-up Day on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Nuenen already has over 300 volunteers (Nuenen schoon) who have been picking up litter throughout the year. Will you join in too?

Everyone can participate in the National Clean-up Day: alone or together with the neighborhood, association, company, district or friends. Cleaning up together is cozier. You can clean up anywhere in the municipality, in your own street, playground or park. It doesn't have to be a big action. An hour of picking up litter together can already make the neighborhood visible.

Will you also participate?

Litter is a problem for all of us. But we can also all contribute to a solution. We appeal to residents, schools and associations to join hands to make Nuenen Clean together. Every little bit helps and many hands make light work!

The municipality helps you

The municipality of Nuenen supports the initiatives by offering a package of gloves, safety vests, garbage grabbers and garbage bags. The materials are brought and collected by the municipality at an agreed location (op=op).
