Response to written questions from the Nuenen Coalition et al.

On April 23, council questions were received from De Combinatie Nuenen c.a. Because answering these questions required consultation and coordination with Blink, BSOB, and DDV, a memo was issued announcing that the response deadline would be exceeded and that the answers are expected to be sent around June 10.

The municipal executive has decided to respond to the written questions from the Combinatie Nuenen c.a. political group by letter.

Extension of advance payments to youth service providers

Due to liquidity problems, the (crucial) youth care provider Stichting Combinatie Jeugdzorg appealed to the 21 municipalities in Southeast Brabant. In 2023, the municipal executive agreed to provide advance funding to ensure continuity of care. In mid-2025, the municipal executive decided to extend the term until the end of 2026. Although the situation has improved, the provider has requested an extension of the advance funding.

The Municipal Executive has decided to approve the addendum to the Advance Payment Agreement with Stichting Combinatie Jeugdzorg, which extends the final repayment date of the advance payment by one year to December 31, 2027.
The Municipal Executive has decided to grant the Mayor and Aldermen of the Municipality of Helmond the authority to enter into the aforementioned addendum on behalf of the Municipal Executive.
The mayor grants power of attorney to the mayor of the municipality of Helmond, with the right of assumption and substitution by a member of the Helmond Municipal Executive or by an official of the municipality of Helmond designated by him, to sign the aforementioned addendum.

Resolution on Street Naming and House Numbers in Kloostertuin

The Street Naming Committee recommends that the City Council approve the proposed street names for the Kloostertuin project (115 homes). In addition, the City Council is asked to approve the procedural proposal to allow for an administrative decision on house numbers to be made at this stage of the project. This is necessary in order to submit an application for transmission capacity to the grid operator before July 1, 2026. Of the current housing projects, Kloostertuin is the only one that qualifies for this.

The city council has decided to approve the following street names:
• Kloostertuin (for the entire neighborhood)
• Elisabeth-hof
• Zuster Josephahof
• Zuster Irenéehof
• Zuster Clothildehof
• Zuster Bernadettehof

The municipal executive has decided to approve the procedural proposal to have an administrative decision on house numbers issued for the development of 115 homes in the Kloostertuin, in anticipation of the application for BOPA Phase 2. The project has been sufficiently developed from a planning perspective for this purpose. This makes it possible to submit an application for transmission capacity to the grid operator before July 1, 2026.
