Formalize existing cooperation between Dommelvallei+ youth organizations by entering into a letter of intent.
The four Dommelvallei+ municipalities (Geldrop-Mierlo, Waalre, Son en Breugel, and Nuenen) have been collaborating for years on preventive youth policy. This allows them to pool their resources and expertise. A memorandum of understanding will formalize this existing collaboration.
The Municipal Executive has taken note of the Dommelvallei+ Youth Letter of Intent and has decided to enter into it.
The Municipal Executive has decided to grant Alderman the authority to sign the Letter of Intent.

Adding a house on the plot Papenvoort 28 / Nico Eekmanlaan approx.
On October 20, 2025, an application for an environmental permit was received for the construction of a residence with a driveway on Nico Eekmanlaan. The environmental permit for an off-plan environmental plan activity (BOPA), construction activity under the environmental plan, and the activity of constructing an access road may be granted. Prior to granting the environmental permit, a prior agreement and a compensation agreement must be concluded.
The council has decided to enter into the advance payment and loss compensation agreement.
Accession to the BSOB joint arrangement
Effective January 1, 2024, the Dommelvallei Service, on behalf of the municipalities of Geldrop-Mierlo, Nuenen and surrounding areas, and Son en Breugel, entered into a service agreement with the East Brabant Tax Cooperation (BSOB), whereby the performance of the WOZ and tax tasks that the Dommelvallei Service previously carried out for the municipalities has been transferred to BSOB. The agreement expires by operation of law on January 1, 2028. It is proposed to join the BSOB joint arrangement (hereinafter referred to as: GR BSOB).
The Municipal Executive has decided to inform the BSOB Board, via the attached letter, that it intends to join the GR BSOB, subject to approval by the City Council.

Council information letter updating events policy (full text)
Through this council briefing, the municipal executive aims to inform the city council about the update to the events policy and the associated public engagement process.
The Executive Board has approved the council briefing titled “Updating the Events Policy” and has decided to send the briefing to the City Council.
Establishing KTM2 package
At the Mobility MRE portfolio holders' meeting, administrative agreement was reached on the KTM2 project list and the financial contributions of the 21 municipalities to these KTM2 projects.
The council has approved the KTM2 project list and forwarded it to the MRE Executive Committee for a decision.
The council has approved the financial allocation associated with the KTM2 project list and the corresponding municipal contribution for Nuenen, and has approved the process for including the municipal contribution—totaling €840,000.00—in the 2027 municipal budget and the 2028–2030 multi-year estimates.

Decision on objections to temporary asylum seekers' center
Objections have been filed against the three environmental permits granted for the construction of the temporary asylum seekers’ center. The objections were submitted to the Objections Committee of the Municipality of Nuenen and Surrounding Areas (hereinafter: the Committee). The Committee reviewed the objections. On February 10, 2026, the Committee issued its recommendation.
In accordance with the committee’s recommendation under points 1 and 3a through 3d, the council has decided to declare the objections admissible for those objectors residing within 260 meters of the temporary asylum seekers’ center.
The explanatory notes accompanying the permits will be improved, and various safety-related requirements will be added.

4 Space for Space homes on Soeterbeekseweg-Wagendonken
An application has been submitted for the construction of four "Ruimte voor Ruimte" homes southeast of the intersection of Soeterbeekseweg and Wagendonken. The requested permits may be granted through a BOPA procedure.
The council has decided to enter into the addendum to the previous agreement and has decided to authorize the Support Department Manager to issue the requested environmental permits for the construction of four "Ruimte voor Ruimte" homes once the addendum to the previous agreement has been signed by both parties.
