New council members sworn in

At the municipal council meeting on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Marjan Vrijnsen-de Corte, Marko van Dalen, Steven Kraaijeveld, and Stijn Walravens were sworn in as aldermen of the municipality of Nuenen, Gerwen, and Nederwetten. Together with Mayor Freek van Genugten, they now form the municipal executive of our municipality. The municipal executive enforces laws and is responsible for the preparation and implementation of council proposals and decisions. The distribution of portfolios will take place during the first executive meeting on Friday, May 29. 

The mayor and aldermen meet every Monday. These meetings are not open to the public, but the agenda and list of decisionsfor each meeting are made public.
