Final section of the bike path (Eeneind - Loostraat) temporarily closed

The final section of the Helmond–Eindhoven express bike path (the section between Eeneind in Nuenen and Loostraat in Eindhoven) is temporarily closed to users. The bike path had been open since Friday, October 9, but unfortunately had to be closed again on Saturday, October 10, as a precaution. This was because strong winds had blown over a temporary fence, creating an unsafe situation. 

To ensure the safety of bike path users, the bike path will remain closed for a little while longer. Over the next few weeks, we will be carrying out the final work and making sure the bike path is safe for use. As soon as this work is completed, the bike path will reopen to users. We hope to hold a festive opening ceremony in late November or early December. We will announce the exact date and time at a later time.
