Just now, Mr. Jan Aarts received a royal decoration for his volunteer work at Bronlaak in Oploo. Mayor Madeleine van Toorenburg performed the presentation. Bronlaak is a working and living community for people with mental disabilities, multiple disabilities and/or behavioral problems. Among other things, Mr. Aarts was treasurer of the Friends of Bronlaak Foundation for more than 30 years. In his own home town of Nuenen, he is also an active volunteer with Senergiek and PVGE Nuenen. He has also been a buyer for the Wettenseind tennis park for several years. Mr. Aarts has been appointed Member in the Order of Orange-Nassau. Congratulations!
