What is it?
If you know someone in your area who deserves a ribbon, please nominate that person.
What to do?
- Please contact the municipality where the nominee lives by emailing representatie@nuenen.nl. They will be able to let you know whether your nomination is strong enough to warrant a royal honor.

Proposals for the following year's General Occasion - known as the "rain of ribbons" - (which is the day before King's Day) must be submitted by July 15 this year.
The decoration proposal for interim awards must be submitted to the mayor 4.5 months before the desired presentation date.
It is important to have as concrete and complete a picture as possible of the person's merits.
Municipal award
In addition to a royal honor , there is also a municipal medal.
What does it cost?
There is no charge to apply for a royal decoration.
