Walk-in meeting housing construction Emma Street on July 13
The city council decided in 2019 to build housing for seniors on a vacant lot on Emma Street, where an elementary school formerly stood. In 2021, the municipality selected a development consortium after a tender process.
In 2022 and 2023, local residents, house seekers and senior citizens' organizations such as Senergiek and PVGE participated in a participation process in a sounding board group. Together they contributed to the design.
The result of this process is a design that will soon form the basis for the zoning procedure. The design includes 12 houses, including 4 apartments, 2 townhouses, 2 corner houses and 2 semi-detached houses.
Are you interested in this project or do you live near Emmastraat? If so, you are welcome to attend a public walk-in meeting on July 13. During this meeting you can view drawings and photos of the plan and ask questions to the developing parties and the municipal project team.
The meeting will be held at City Hall:

Time: between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
