Door-to-door waste collection (PMD)

In the municipality of Nuenen, we regularly see PMD waste being put out too early or on the wrong day. Waste that is not put out at the right time will not be collected and can cause litter and vermin. Recently, rejected waste has been left lying around for a long time in several places in the municipality.

We therefore urge residents to only put out PMD bags at the correct time. Collection containers may only be put out between 10 p.m. on the evening before the designated collection day (Thursday) and 7:30 a.m. on the collection day itself, and must be securely closed and presented correctly. Only then can the waste be collected properly.

Properly separating waste and disposing of it on time prevents nuisance in the neighborhood and ensures that waste can be recycled more effectively.

PMD waste is collected by Blink. Blink is also responsible for communication and complaint handling regarding waste collection. Waste that has been incorrectly presented or is contaminated (for example, because it contains waste that does not belong in PMD) will not be collected and will therefore remain lying around longer than desirable.
