Free assistance with employment, education, and career guidance during the Work Center’s walk-in consultation hours

Residents of Nuenen who have questions about work, education, or personal development are welcome to attend the walk-in consultation hours at the Zuidoost-Brabant Employment Center. The consultation hours are held every third Wednesday of the month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Nuenen Library, located at Jonkheer van Berckellaan 18 in Nuenen.

During office hours, visitors are welcome to drop in without an appointment for a personal consultation and expert advice. Whether you’re looking for a new job, considering a career change, wanting to better understand your talents, or needing support with training or continuing education, the team at the Zuidoost-Brabant Employment Center is here to help.

Who is the consultation hour intended for?

The walk-in consultation hour is open to anyone with questions about work, education, or personal development, such as people who:

  • are (at risk of) losing their jobs;
  • take on temporary work while looking for a permanent position;
  • want to continue working until they retire;
  • consider switching to a different industry;
  • As a self-employed person, consider working as an employee;
  • have just finished their education and are looking for work;
  • consider pursuing a degree or continuing education to strengthen their position in the job market.

About the Work Center

The Southeast Brabant Employment Center serves as a regional hub for all questions regarding employment, training, and career development. The center is supported by a broad network of collaborating partners, including local municipalities, the UWV, social partners, educational institutions, the SBB, and social enterprises. Visitors receive immediate advice from experienced career counselors and, if necessary, are quickly referred to the appropriate support services.
