Congratulations to 105-year-old Francisca van Breemen

Deputy Mayor Niels Wouters went on a birthday visit Friday, January 5, 2024, to Mrs. Francisca van Breemen, who turned 105 years old on that day. She is the oldest resident of the municipality of Nuenen. She has lived in Nuenen since her ^100th birthday.

Mrs. van Breemen was born January 5, 1919 in 's-Hertogenbosch and has always lived in Eindhoven. She has raised four children and celebrates her birthday with her daughter, son, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren. Despite surviving corona twice, she is very happy. Last year, she even got to see Frans Bauer. When he asked her about her secret to a long life, she simply replied, "Just keep breathing."

At the celebration of her ^100th birthday in 2018, she has already received a tree of life that stands in Park Houtrijk. Now she will receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a gift from the city council.
